Traffic Racer is an endless arcade racer set on crowded roads. You weave your car between commuters, trucks and buses, and the faster and closer you pass them, the more points and cash you collect. Turkish developer Soner Kara built it in eight months with the Unity engine and released it in 2012 as his first mobile game.
There are five modes to switch between: Endless, Two-Way, Time Trial, Police Chase and Free Ride, across five settings that include a suburb, a desert, snowy roads, rain and a city at night. Cash buys new cars from a garage of more than 40 models, plus paint and wheel changes, and global leaderboards show how you compare with other drivers.
Tips For Higher Scores
- Drive above 100 km/h and overtake cars closely to earn bonus score and cash.
- Try Two-Way mode once you feel comfortable, because driving in the opposite lanes pays extra.
- Spend early cash on one fast car rather than several slow ones.
