About Shell Shockers
An online first-person shooter where every player is an armed egg, built by Blue Wizard Digital for quick browser matches.
Shell Shockers drops you into fast online firefights where every player is an egg with a gun. One good hit cracks the shell, so matches move quickly and reward sharp aim and smart movement more than long grinding. Blue Wizard Digital launched the game for web browsers in September 2017 and later brought it to iOS and Android.
Before each round you pick a weapon class, from close-range blasters to scoped rifles, and fight across compact maps in modes such as free for all, team battles, a capture mode called Captula the Spatula and King of the Coop, where teams fight to hold a zone. Golden eggs collected while you play go toward hats, skins and other items in the shop.
The game runs on the Babylon.js web engine, so the browser version loads without an install, and you can set up a private game when you want to play with friends.
Tips For Your First Matches
- Keep jumping and strafing while you shoot, because a moving egg is much harder to hit.
- Reload behind cover instead of in the open, since a short pause is often all an opponent needs.
- Try each weapon class for a few rounds before settling on the one that suits your aim.
- Save grenades for pushing players out of corners and tight rooms.
